This certification is administered by the Louisiana State Bar Association, requires substantial family law trial experience, references from the local bar community, local judges and a rigorous examination. David Hesser is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA). Certified Divorce Financial Analyst by Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts is not provided by the State Bar Association and is not a law certification but is a financial certification. David Hesser received his Master of Laws Degree in Admiralty Law from Tulane University Law School, after completion of a rigorous two-year evening program while working full time as an attorney.
