Melissa LeGrand Benoit, is a Partner attorney currently litigating family law, offshore injury, personal injury and insurance defense cases. Melissa has a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School. While at Tulane she was a member of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, Phi Alpha Delta, the Tulane Inn of Court, the Business Law Society and the Tulane Entertainment and Arts Law Society. She is a cum laude Political Science and French graduate from Centenary College of Louisiana, in Shreveport, Louisiana. While at Centenary she was honored as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and the Dean's List and participated in the Pre-Law Society.  She is a Louisiana native and a graduate of Caddo Parish Magnet High School in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Before joining the firm she served as a Legal Intern for United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, Judge Carl E. Stewart and the Legal Services of North Louisiana, Inc. in Shreveport.  She is a member of the Cross-Roads Inn of Court and the Alexandria Bar Association.
